While consumers are increasingly craving authentic, environmental-friendly products that do not compromise on performance and quality, Faber-Castell Cosmetics focuses on sustainable packaging and natural ingredients with a new range of products with highly natural textures in airtight wood pencils.
Dubbed “Reverie”, the new concept gets inspiration from digital escapism, revival culture and the need for a more playful beauty. “The concept addresses the conscious but also vibrant generation with products that are in line with their beliefs and lifestyle providing them with products that allow to enjoy beauty without compromise,” said the company on a statement.
The line features vegan and highly natural formulas with caring ingredients such as shea butter, vitamin E and bisabolol. It also includes several packaging innovations.
Innovative eyeliners
For a quick and easy refill of liquid eyeliners, Faber-Castell Cosmetics introduces the new one-click cartridge. Thanks to this new solution, it only takes a few seconds to exchange the cartridge containing a vegan, water based texture with an intense colour pay off.
In addition, the line also features an ultra slim eyeliner with a unique 2mm retractable tip offering high precision with a soft glide while the robust formula provides a long-lasting performance for up to 20 hours.
The concept further includes liquid eyeliners with a new water and crease proof texture featuring fancy pigmented matte colours next to creamy and moisturizing lipsticks with Faber-Castell’s first ever bio glitter based on cellulose. The unique, vegan formula provides maximum application comfort.
Airtight wood pencils
The new “Reverie” collection includes a brow or lipliner pencil incorporating renewable ingredients in PEFC-certified wood and airtight packaging to create a sustainable cosmetic package. “These pencils are not only smooth and comfortable to apply but also long lasting, smudge, transfer and waterproof. This has also been recognized by the expert’s committee at the MakeUp fair in New York where the product received an innovation award as IT product,” said Faber-Catell Cosmetics in a statement.
