We have a unique opportunity for an experienced creative perfumer with one of the world’s largest users of fragrances and fragrance raw materials in personal care, skincare and haircare products.
Joining this global business at a senior level, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the company’s structure and processes for fragrance development and production. Using your technical know-how and communication skills, you will work with the company’s internal teams and partner Fragrance Houses, as you establish and manage an in-house fragrance compounding lab.
As part of this highly visible project, you will spearhead efforts to optimize the performance, cost, sustainability, and compliance of the fragrance portfolio. You will drive this agenda by collaborating with upstream Science & Technology teams, ensuring delivery of their strategies and innovations.
You must be a true problem-solver and communicator, able to engage and inspire your colleagues while driving significant change and breakthrough results.
Candidate requirements:
Relevant Science education; BSc Chemistry or above
Perfumery school qualification, or on-the-job training plus extensive experience
Demonstrable success as a Perfumer for consumer goods, delivering technical performance
Experience in fragrance application for skincare, haircare, bath and body and personal care
Experience of working with and managing cross-functional, global teams
Desire to be a recognised leader in bringing the science of sustainability to the art of perfumery
